Silent Video #3 - The Cabin

In this last final silent video i tired to focus on the vivid and rough straight lines found in dead wood. I added some stills to help give the work a better overall feel.

Silent Video #2 - Wirewall

In this final video i over layered some clips to help give a sense of turmoil or confusion to the overall flow the the video.

Silent Video #1 - Numbers

In this video i tried to give the stills some life by adding video and changing the original layout of the numbers. This helped give the overall video a nice flow to it.

Rough Cut Sketch #5

In this sketch i focused on the bold dark lines of the fence and the ridged lines created by the bricks. This was my first spot i stopped at on my drift 2.

Rough Cut Sketch #4

In this sketch i tired to focus on all the straight and ridged lines found on this wall. I found this "wirewall" against some new condos being built around downtown and thought it was very interesting.

Rough Cut Sketch #3

In this sketch i tried to focus on the hard edged line that are found in wood. I found is pretty small cabin right before the drop off walking towards the lake front.

Rough Cut Sketch #2

On this sketch i used all still photos of numbers that i could find that where on one side of a block on a street.

Rough Cut Sketch #1

In this sketch I focused on the different long line shapes in this piece of art. This was my last stop and discovery on my drift two. I didn't even know this thing existed!

Image Capturing Strategies

I had two main image capturing strategies for my drift 2. The first being of only extremely violent, hard edged lines.. The second was using various still and moving imagery of numbers all from the same side of one block.

Drift Strategy

The drift strategy i used on my drift 2 is the same one i used for drift 1. I just changed my starting point. I started my drift 2 on the corner of Brady and Cambridge. I walked south for about 5 to 6 blocks then walked around the block and followed north down the next street and so on.
